佛山中科产业技术研究院（简称“佛中科产研院”）是由中国科学院和佛山市人民政府合作共建的具有独立法人资格的经营服务类事业单位。
佛中科产研院以“立足技术创新、面向行业应用、服务产业发展”的学科发展思路，立足佛山传统产业转型升级和战略性新兴产业培育发展的目标、任务与需求，围绕先进制造、电子信息、新材料、生物医药、新能源与节能环保五大领域，集聚国内外高层次人才、科技和产业化资源，通过引进产业化创新团队，开展项目合作，建立专业中心和科技创新公共服务、知识产权与技术交易平台，打造科技服务网络，建设孵化器、中试基地和产业园区等创新载体，着力开展应用研究、产业技术工程化研发、科技成果产业化等工作，增强地方相关产业的科技创新能力，加快推进高新技术成果实现资本化、产业化，推动区域产业结构优化升级与核心竞争力提升。
Foshan Sino-tech Industrial Technology Research Institute (FSITRI) is an institution with independent legal qualification for public service management which was jointly established by Chinese Academy of Sciences and Foshan Municipal Government.
Regarding technological innovation, industrial application and service industrial development as its ways and means of disciplinary development, basing on the transformation and upgrading for traditional industries and the target, task and demand for the cultivation and development of strategic and newly-developing industries in Foshan, concentrating on five fields which are advanced manufacture, IT, new material, biological medicine, new energy and environment energy-saving, absorbing domestic and international high-level talents, science and technology and industrialized resources, throughout introducing teams of industrialized innovation, FITRI.CAS launches project cooperation ,builds specialty centers and platforms for public service of technological innovation, intellectual property and transaction in technology, creates science and technology service network, establishes innovation carrier such as incubators, test bases and industrial parks etc., works on applied research, research and development for industrial technology engineering and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements etc., strengthens capabilities of science and technology innovation in local relative industries, accelerates and boosts the capitalization and industrialization of achievements for high-tech technology and promotes the optimization and upgrading of regional industry structure and enhancement of core competitiveness.
